LIM in the pink

What a busy weekend, and what dreadful weather!  On Saturday afternoon it was blue sky, hailstones and thunder - all at the same time!  Yesterday the family came to visit and we enjoyed a roast with a homemade apple crumble, delicious if I do say so myself!  I haven't had much time to craft and my 'fancy' card is still a work in progress .. .. but I have put together a card for this week's Less Is More colour pink challenge.  I emptied out another storage box of craft stuff from the loft and discovered my pearl paper and card, the pale pink is left over card from when I did my son's wedding invitations, so pleasant memories making this little number.  I've cut and embossed the fancy edge with Marianne die LRO201, although you can't see the embossing very well in the picture.  The heart I cut from Marianne craftable CR1225 with the inner heart embossed with a CB rose folder.  Then simply finished off with the ribbon and text by Lili of the Valley stamped in grey ink.  Inside I've added a pearl paper insert edged with a Martha Stewart lace punch and stamped a greeting and a heart design in the matching grey ink.

The Fab 'n' Funky challenge is for diecuts or punches so I can enter with them too.

  2. What a sweet little wedding card Annie, it looks so lovely in the pink pearl card. The Marianne's bordee is delightful and, after seeing your projects cut withe Craftables heart die, I just had to order one myself ! I only had the Nellie's heart set before. Hopefully my new dies will be waiting for me when I get home.
