Dandelion Girl

I'm not getting much time to craft, or to catch up with blogging, these days. Dad is very weak now and I can't get over the change in just a month. I'm giving myself an extra day to rest at home before going back down on Thursday so I can get to see the doctor who visits the Nursing Home and is ultimately in charge of his care - although things could of course change before then.

Today I'm sharing a card with you I've taken ages putting together but finally it's finished! The image is one of Sylvia's new Wee digi designs available from Cuddly Buddly, this is the little dandelion girl and of course she is coloured with Copics. I've used a piece of digi paper for the background, pale yellow cardstock for matting and added a double organza ribbon in pink and yellow as well as the pink pearls made with my Waco pearl pen and the diecut pink and yellow Marianne flower embellishments. Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention the touch of Stardust Stickles on the dandelion fluffs and her petticoat.

Copic colours I used:
skintones - E000, 00, 21, R00
hair - E50, 51, 53, 55
pinks - RV0000, 00, 02, 32
yellows - Y0000, 000, 00, 02
a touch of G00
shadow with B63, B60 and an old B60 topped up with blender refill to make it even paler

I'm entering a few challenges with my card: Stampavie and More for pink creations, Paperplay for blossoms and blooms, and Totally Papercrafts for pink and girly.

Thank you for stopping by and double thanks for leaving me a comment - I'm going to try and get around to some blogs this afternoon in between the dreaded housework!Link
