It's Wednesday so time again to show off what's on your workdesk with Julia on her blog, Stamping Ground. I have been trying to make a card for LIM challenge - one layer only and with wings - yikes! I picked up the little Nellie Snellen robin stamp back in the summer so thought I'd have a play with it, only in order to colour with my Copics I'd have to use my 'special' card and I only have A5 pieces. So no pressure to get things stamped first time, including the text, actually it was 3rd time lucky. The other two I've cut down to turn into something else with the help of my new paper pads you can see there on the left. I've cut the red circle for one of robins with a Marianne die you can see above it, I must remember to pop out the bits from the die before I put it away. I keep them in the A5 sleeves that the LOTV stamps come in, well the ones that fit that is - you can just see a new one peeking in on the right and if you look carefully under the kraft coloured piece (still not made up) there's some die cut pieces from more of my new dies.
I am eagerly awaiting the return of my friend Wynneth, she's been gallivanting again and no doubt stash buying .. .. I wonder what she's bringing home with her. Also, before she left I did an order for some SU cardstock in red and kraft and I'm desperate for it to get on with making up that little coloured piece!
That little robin is so cute!I hate the pressure of trying to get something right first time too- funny thing is, if I don't actually put that pressure on myself it usually comes out OK anyway- its only when I get the 'must not mess-up' thought into my head that it goes awry.Have a great Wednesday, Hugs Shaz #96
