I managed to make a card this afternoon for the ABC Christmas challenge blog where the theme is C for clean and simple, with a nice and easy sketch by Helen. I had great plans to make at least one festive card each week .. .. but so far have failed miserably! Over on the Bah Humbug! blog their theme is to use an oldie but a goodie stamp and I'm just squeezing in at the last minute with my little Penny Black snowman creation. I've used digi papers from Cuddly Buddly, stickled the edges with Stardust then backed with Almost Amethyst cardstock by Stampin' Up! I die-cut the Marianne circle from the card, added a Martha Stewart border of punched snowflakes, tied a piece of organza ribbon around the horizontal layer then couldn't resist adding 3 little gem hearts. And, I have stickled here, there and everywhere too - shows up really well in the picture as I've had to take it under my work lamp tonight. Also, the theme on the Stamp Something challenge blog is for winter somethings, so one for them too.
