rescued from the bit box

It has gotten very cold here in Cornwall, well cold for us at any rate. It was just too cold to keep going into the conservatory to find crafty bits and pieces so I cleared out a drawer in the sideboard, lugged my diecutting machines onto the kitchen bar area, spread my pens, embellies and papers all over the table and piled boxes up on the floor .. .. no doubt there will still be something that I need out there but at least I can stay in the warm a little longer!

Anyway, about my card .. .. .. The base of it was already done - probably over a year ago as it's retired SU! card called Orchid Opulence with a MS punch around the page white layer then a piece of Cuddly Buddly patterned digi paper layered over that.  I also had the cute little Wee digi stamp Suzi with bunny partly coloured, well her hair and skin tones were done, so I finished her off and added a touch of sparkle with Stardust Stickles to match the square mat edge.  The flowers are made with a punch, they punch out all different sizes in one go, and the little white sprays are from Marianne die LR0106.  I've added tiny pale blue pearls to the centre of the flowers and the pink pearl hearts at the top on a strip of scrap paper that was left from making something else.

The Charisma Cardz challenge is to use at least two punches on your creation so as I have two plus the die, I can join their challenge.  Stampin' For the Weekend are looking for girlie creations this time around, and so are the Divas by Design blog so here's one for them too.  Whatever you are doing this weekend, have fun!

  4. Stunning card Annie. Wonderful what you can make with bits!

Good idea to take your stash somewhere warmer. My friend has done that and says more seems to arrive and not go back to where it was!

    Keep warm,
