WOYWW - a mess!
I am trying to get tidied up and cleared away so the table can be used over Christmas for eating meals .. .. but hey ho! I've missed Julia's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday for a few weeks but as I've nothing else to share with you today I thought I'd snap the mess. There's a couple of cards on top of the Copics that you'll see in detail over the next couple of days. And a couple of coloured images there in front that just didn't want to work for me .. .. and a SK over the back that I coloured ages ago and still haven't done anything with. I really am a messy crafter!
Unfortunately, one of the reasons I've not been blogging the past couple of days is because I had a bit of an allergic reaction to mushrooms that caused my eyes to swell, even my eyeballs! I've had it before but never could pin down the cause, and thankfully never so bad. However, Monday night we had quite a few mushrooms that needed using up so there was a pile on my plate, and before I'd finished my meal my eyes were itching and swelling shut. Thankfully we had anti-histamine in the house so one of those calmed the itch, but my eyes were just about swollen shut and yesterday morning they were still quite sore, so I wasn't able to do much crafting. Today I've been playing catch up and getting nowhere fast. The two coloured images were meant to be for my DT cards this week but I just couldn't get them to look right so they will have to be turned into something else.
Now I had better try and catch up with my DT commenting and see what's going on with other WOYWW desks - back tomorrow with my CCT card.

This is a sure sign of a busy stamper!! :) Sorry about your allergic reaction! Those can be scary! HUGS
ReplyDeleteI think a messy desk shows that you're a busy lady. Mine's a bit messy too but then it always is!
ReplyDeleteThat's sounds like a really nasty allergic reaction. I hope your poor eyes feel better really soon.

Oh poor you! I love mushrooms! You, of course, should now avoid them! You may need to see a doctor to obtain an Epi pen. If your allergic reaction is getting worse, you need to be prepared just in case there are mushroom products in items you eat that are not obvious. Your desk doesn't look all that messy. Everything is relative!!! And there are certainly some very pretty craft projects on there! Hugs, Lesley
ReplyDeleteHo Ho what a lovely productive mess! Glad to hear the mushroom escapade has turned the corner...scarey! Sandi 5
ReplyDeletegosh that sounds painful, fancy being allergic to musherooms, never thought eyeballs could swell....urghhhh, hope you get better real soon, looks like you are really busy as well

Lovely cards. My husband is allergic to mushrooms but hasn't had a reaction like that, glad you managed to work out what was causing the reaction. Lou #93
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing. Allergies are rubbish, aren't they? Your desk looks wonderfully busy, so much colour! Thanks for sharing! Lucy #16 x
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that allergy sounds really nasty. Certainly not the thing to have to put up with at this time of year, and when you are a crafter on top of it all. I do hope that your eyeballs are getting back to normal now and the hurting has stopped.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards, real beauties there.
Hugs, Neet xx 2
That's tidy compared to my desk Annie LOL The christmas card making frenzy has left lots of stuff scattered around on my workdesk too. Note to self - tidy my crafting space in the period between christmas and new year LOL
ReplyDeleteOoo... nasty allergic reaction there - do be careful. Hope all the swelling has now gone and you are feeling much better.
hugs
