here - at the moment they are the middle two on the second row from the top. I often take a look at the gallery for inspiration as there are some stunning works of art on show.
It's been a bit of a stop and start craft day today as I've been grouting in the bathroom and pottering about the house. I was hoping to have several little bits and pieces finished from ideas in my head, but this is as far as I got - a little notebook with a new cover created from left-overs. I stuck a piece of Marianne's Warm Winter Wishes paper to the cover then trimmed it, inked the edges with Walnut Stain DI and then went around with Platinum Stickles. I made a little tag from a scrap of kraft card and a different pp from the same pack, then glued an oddment of lace across the bottom, glued the big cream satin bow that's been sat on my desk for a week or so to the top, then 3d mounted the tag onto the notebook cover. I cut one of my favourite Marianne snowflakes from cream textured card and gave that a distress ink touch before 3d fixing it to the tag, plus adding the little star to the middle that came from my bit jar - it's actually the waste from a Marianne border die. I stamped the text, also by Marianne, onto yet another piece of pp from the pack then did the same distress ink touch, a couple of mats in kraft and cream, also inked, and a touch of Stickles on the snowflakes - there you have it!
The Cutie Pie challenge is to distress, hopefully they will be happy with a distressed note book rather than a card. I will try and finish up the other projects in my head to share with you in a day or two, but with family visiting this weekend I'm going to have my hands full!
