My Dad

Update: I am home for a few days rest although that might be cut short at any time. Unfortunately the outlook is grim and the time is short. I will know how short later today. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for my Dad and family, we are very grateful and touched by the kindness of strangers, and dear friends too.



I have some bad news about my Dad. He has a brain tumour and as my Mum doesn't drive I am going to be staying with her for the next few days so she can visit him in hospital. After that I expect to be staying/visiting them a lot in the coming months. Consequently I'm not going to be crafting or blogging and as Mum doesn't have internet access I wont be able to visit anyone either. I am hoping that I might be able to craft from time to time, probably as therapy for myself, but for now I'm not sure when that will be.

    Oh Annie... so sorry to hear this & I hope the outcome will be positive for Dad. Situations like this are so difficult for us to cope with at times so stay strong & keep us posted.

    So sorry to hear that the news is probably worse than you hoped. My lovely Dad died in 1986 after being ill for less than a week and I still miss him. I'm sure you just feel so sad and helpless just now. Keep strong and I'm sure you know you're in the thoughts and prayers of many people.
