It's an anything goes week on Lili's Little Fairies with a prize of $10 to spend at Nitwits! I've coloured up another Christmas image with my Copics, this little lass is about to fix the star to the top of the tree - and I've actually added Glossy Accents to both the star and the little bauble but it doesn't show up. The reds are the R35, 37 & 39 that I've been using a lot recently, the beige/brown tones are the E40 - E47 range, the greens are G20, 21 & 24 but I'm sorry I can't remember what colours I used for the golden shades - probably YR30, 31 and possibly YR21 & 24.
And here's the card - it's a square but on my screen looks more rectangular .. .. oh to get my old software back! The papers are scraps of digi designs I printed off a while back, from Designer Digitals I'm guessing. I've stickled the edges with Glitz for super sparkle and matted with a gorgeous red card from Stampin' Up! but I didn't have enough left to cut a mat for my circular image so had to use a neutral shade and make a base card in the same card to tie it together. I used the dark Copic red to edge the image and the text but resisted the urge to add more sparkle! The embellishment is created from various Marianne dies, the mini poinsettia set LRO142 and the sprays from flower sets LRO106 & LRO107.
I can enter Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge for festive foliage, the Christmas Card challenge for bling and Charisma Cardz for sparkle.
It's an extra long weekend for us here in the UK as we celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee - I'm not sure what we will be doing just yet - rain in the forecast but hopefully Cornwall will have it overnight and my water butt is empty again! I have been out and got a large pot of Shades paint to brighten up the garden shed - I chose Natural Stone as I wasn't sure what colour the house walls and base of the shed will be, however, I'm painting over a horrid poopie brown so it might take a few coats! Whatever you are doing this weekend, I hope you have fun and the sun shines for you! See you next week .. ..
Totally gorgeous card - thanks for joining my CHNC challenge 74 - hope to see you again soon x
