Planes, trains and automobiles

The theme this week on Cute Card Thursday is planes, trains and automobiles - well one of those any way.  Our challenge is sponsored by Heidi from Simon Says Stamps.

For my DT card I've inked up the cute Lili of the Valley little lad with his aeroplanes, very apt for my grandsons just at the moment too as grandad has been making them elastic band aeroplanes to fly from the sand dunes at the beach.  I've coloured with Copics, using E50 & 51 for skin tones with a touch of E02 for blush; hair with E53 & 55; the blues are B93, 95 & 97; the reds R35, 37 & 39; and the beige tones are E40, 41, 42, 43 & 44.  Shadow is C1 and the grass a mix of W2 and YG93.

And here's the card.  It's a C6 but looks square on my screen (still haven't got the editing software sorted) and I've used more of the freebie magazine papers called Portobello Road, diecut the buttons and stamped the text from the freebie set that came with the magazine.  I added the mini red pom-poms along the paper join, but left it at that as boys don't really do frills!
