Embossing at Totally Papercrafts

The theme this week on the Totally Papercrafts blog is embossing and our sponsors for this challenge are Doodle Dragon by Dustin Pike and Kenny K - please stop by the blog for details of the prizes on offer.
The team is now split in two so we take it in turns to create every couple of weeks but the challenge is still weekly, this week it's the turn for the team I'm in.

I thought I'd do something a little bit different and use a selection of diecuts with embossed areas, which I've highlighted with Walnut DI so they stand out. The little lad is a LOTV stamp, coloured with my Copics, and I was hoping I had a 'sorry' stamp in my stash – but I haven't. Anyone know where I can get one? The closest I got was the little circle stamp by Cuddly Buddly and I found a tiny bee stamp too so added it to my image to tie the two together.

The papers are old ones by K&Co and I forgot how pretty they are as well as being quite thick and double sided, so more than capable of standing alone without the need for a mat for support. Apart from inking the edges and embossed areas, there's just a length of ribbon, a pretty little golden heart button and then the pearls to finish things off.

The Marianne dies I used on this card are:
oval mat behind image from LR0240
mat behind text from LR0235
rose leaves from LR0162
red fronds from LR0192
flowers from LR0111
stamens from LR0112

The Daring Cardmakers challenge for this week is also calling for embossing so don't forget to link up your creation with them too!
