together for Christmas

I was doing really well this morning, or rather the internet was, and managed to get to visit quite a few of you!  And I even managed to make a craft order for some new Christmas papers and Marianne dies .. .. well you gotta now and then, don't you? Now it's slowed right down again so pictures are taking an age, and I was going to go shopping on the LOTV web site too .. .. spending the money I saved on the duvets and curtains! oh well, maybe it'll speed up again later .. ..

Today's card is another of the C6 blanks, this time in cream with kraft card extras.  Now the base layers I found already put together and after I'd coloured this cute LOTV stamped image in, I thought it might work even though the paper design isn't festive - it's a Nitwits magazine freebie.  The embossed scallop edge is a Marianne die, then I simply added some punched and inked holly leaves and a smattering of red heart gems.  Simple but sweet I think.
Here's a close up of how I coloured the image, with my Copics of course, although I forgot to note the numbers.  The browns are sure to be E40s as they are my favourites to use, and the reds look as though they are the R20 range, I usually go for those shades for my reds.  Not sure on the greens though, or the golden tones.

Christmas Stampin All Year Long have an anything goes theme this time around, and Creative Inspirations have the same theme so I'll enter my card with both of them.

  14. Gorgeous Annie. That image is soooo sweet. Love it.

I can sympathise about the internet or lack of it. Mine is usually pretty slow but last night I spent more than an hour trying to write a post and add a photo! Then couldn't get today's DT post done. So ended up doing it this morning early and instead of scheduling it for 8am the lovely Mr Blogger left it in draft and I had to add it this evening. Worse when you can't get your shopping done though!!
