I have another loved up Sarah Kay card to share with you today. This is 'first kiss' and makes a perfect girly Valentine, don't you think? I've kept things simple this time and made sure the embellishments wouldn't add to the cost of posting, even though I've 3d mounted the image it should be ok for the regular rate. The paper is from the Rose Cottage digi collection by Cuddly Buddly and again I've done the white line and pricking faux stitiching around the edge before matting with pale lilac card from my stash. For a bit of added interest I've added a horizontal band of the plain cardstock with Martha Stewart punched edges and a strip of the patterned paper. The text is from Cuddly Buddly stamped in orchid pink Brilliance ink. To embellish I diecut a Cuttlebug double heart, punched out MS hydrangea flowers and added pearl centres with my white pearl maker pen.
Totally Gorjuss blog have a sketch which I've sort of followed, so hope they will accept my card for their challenge. Dutch Dare card challenges are now going to be weekly and the next one is for stitching, and faux is ok thank goodness!

ReplyDeleteI love the way you've matched the paper with that hat - such a lovely example of Sarah Kay too. Love these colours & the combination with the blue denim is first rate, so girly too without being pink - not that I don't like pink but this is just a bit more grown up somehow.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
