I missed sharing my desk last week with Julia and the WOYWW girls, so here's my messy desk this week! At the top left there's my card I just posted waiting for the Stickles to dry and in the box it's sat on is my collection of little bottles of sparkle and pearl stuff. Mostly though it's a pile of felt things I'm diecutting with Marianne's new Creatable dies to the left there. I saw on the Marianne catalogue a banner made with them, however, they were finished off with blanket stitch around the edges and my stitching looked apalling so that idea went out the window! I did manage to layer the two hearts together with running stitch and then came up with the idea of using little buttons to keep it all together - I think it's going to work! I'm going to have to go shopping for some baker's twine or ribbon to string them together, and I will need more little buttons or another idea for fixing before I cut out more as I only had those half-dozen buttons in white. Think I had best go shopping at Bunny Zoe's as there's 15% off across the store .. .. ..
These are going to make a great banner - didn't realise the creatables would cut felt too.

Ooooo never tried felt with thin dies in my Cuttlebug, but I guess they work. I'll have to give that a go. They look super. BJ#33
