Frosty Fairy

Today I have another Christmas card to share with you - this time with LOTV Festive Fairy.  I've coloured the stamped image with my Copic pens, but find that those pinky violet shades fade out a lot, so not light fast - at least not in my conservatory.  I did go back and try to darken some areas, and to be honest she looks better in real life.  There's lots of sparkly glitter added to her wings, the snow and around the edge of the scrap of pp I found in my bit box, I think it's a piece of Cuddly Buddly digi from a year or so ago.  My embellishments are created with various Marianne dies and the Nellies Choice punch and emboss poinsettias - I have all 3 sizes and layer them up, then cut up the biggest layer to create the leaves.  A touch of ribbon and bling finishes things off nicely, don't you think?

I can link up to the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge as it's for sparkle and bling, and Flutterby Wednesday also want to see some sparkle on your butterfly or fairy creations.

I'm  not sure when the next project will be ready to share with you - unless you want to see my painted skirting boards.  I've got some gorgeous wallpaper to hang in the bedroom, but I'm a little bit scared of starting it just in case it all goes horribly wrong, I'm telling myself to be brave, take a deep breath and cut the first piece!
