I managed to put a DT card together for this week's
Cute Card Thursday challenge to stamp and colour onto kraft cardstock. After seeing Wynneth working on
her DT card last Monday afternoon, I wanted to have a go .. .. a quick rummage found just enough SU! kraft card for another C6 Marie Curie card and this dotty K&Co paper was the perfect match for it! I've coloured my LOTV Lazy Days chap with my Copics then added white pencil highlights and blue pencil for the background sky. For embellishment I've punched out the MS Hydrangea flowers from the dotty paper and layered them up with a touch of Platinum Stickles in the centres, then punched the fronds from cream card and inked the edges before stickling as well. The little metal clip is from my stash with a snip of seam binding tied around it, then I cut the
Marianne die swirl LRO157 from Kraft for a bit of interest at the bottom of the card.
I used these Copics to colour the little chap:
skintones - E00, 21, 93
hair & shoes - E35, 57
cap & shorts - E11 15, 57
paper & socks - E40, 41
greens - YG93, 95
Lily of the Valley's challenge for this week is titled 'here comes summer' - what better than a relaxing snooze on a warm sunny day under the shade of a tree!
This little chap looks great on kraft card, this is such a great card for the guys in our lives. The peachy colour goes so well with the kraft and your flowers are really lovely.

ReplyDeleteDelightful combination of kraft with apricot & white & I love how effective that blue sky background is. The little punched flowers are lovely with that swirl too - your floral embellishments are always different with the various dies etc.....
