I thought I was going to have to let them down again on the Creative Inspirations blog - it's my last week as a guest designer and thankfully I realised I had this card already made but not blogged and, as the theme this week is for manly creations, it should fit the bill nicely. Also, with the stars in the image and as embellishments I can enter The Corrosive Challenge. The image is from Kim's Eliza and Bro range with papers from the Denim Portfollio digi papers by Cuddly Buddly matted with purple cardstock. I've punched a Martha Stewart zig zag edge, added pricking stitches and Quickutz corners. To embellish I've stamped and coloured the little circle greeting, added a navy organza ribbon, punched stars and fixed little star gems and the button Happy Birthday.
Gotta rush away now and get back to the books!
Great card for the boys Annie.Fab papers and image.Love the Birthday button.

Love the colours & the piercing detail too coupled with the zig zag punch. The colouring of the circular sentiment is so effective too & I love that little teddy by his feet. Take care with all that bookwork.
