Hello!

It's been a while since I updated my blog - where does the time go! Debbie very kindly let me know I had won the ASFOS blog challenge with my last card and I'm looking forward to playing with the cute Santa and puppy stamp when it arrives. This week the ASFOS theme is a Christmas card in non traditional colours - so no red or green. I think my little card in pink and soft amethyst might fit the bill - it's one of my Cuddly Buddly creations with the Ding Dong Merrily stamp coloured with ProMarkers and papers from the Pretty Frosty Christmas paper pack. I've used scraps of the paper to punch out the flowers and then added silver branches punched with my friends Martha Stewart punch (I must get my own).

The All Sorts challenge blog are looking to see the colour Purple this week, I'm hoping that my soft amethyst is ok for them.

I'm still not 100% but I am on the mend, although I have to keep having regular blood tests. It seems that my kidneys aren't getting rid of the fat waste products and the build up in my blood is causing the gout - well something along those lines .. .. the doctor was confusing me with science by this stage! He wants me to carry on with the diet and I'm loosing around a pound a week now so by the summer will be a shadow of my former self, and in desperate need of a new wardrobe! There have been some family problems going on as well, but most of those have ended happily or are coming to a satisfactory conclusion, I'll be free to talk more about things in the New Year. Thanks for not forgetting me and I hope to be along to catch up with you all very soon.

This is lovely Annie, I'm not usually too keen on non trad colours for Christmas cards, but this is great.
Keep getting better!
