Well I just had a phone call from my son to say that my grandson weighed in at 8lb 12oz just after mid-day and we have no idea what he's going to be called as we all thought this baby was going to be a girl! So convinced that I made this baby girl card yesterday with one of my new Sarah Kay stamps called 'Mummy loves you'. I stamped with Jumbo Java Versamagic, heat set and then coloured with my Polychromos pencils, added a little paper piercing to the corners then layered up using Splitcoast Stampers sketch #197. I stamped the Magnolia swirl over the larger SU pixie pink piece in Brilliance pearlescent ink, found a piece of Imaginisce dp that matched for the middle layer then finished things off with a bloom and a little wire heart charm I got at Exeter craft fair. Mother and baby are doing well, Dad has to empty the birthing pool and once the family have had time to recuperate I hope that we can go and visit.

CONGRATS!!! How did I miss this last night? How funny about everyone thinking it was a girl... my sisters third baby we all KNEW it was a girl, the doctor even said he thought it was probably a girl. Her 4 year old said no baby sister she already had one of those, this one was a boy. WE all laughed and thought she was cute - well her baby brother was what she got! Shocked all of us - so much so that I was out getting something not pink for him to come home in as everything was pink!
Hope they are all doing well and you have lots of time to hug and love your knew grandson!
