Ismaki Sketch #11

This is one of my new Penny Black stamps that came all the way from HM Stamps in America, it's called 'In Her Garden' and I immediately thought of my friend Mel when I saw it! Mel isn't a crafter so hopefully she wont see the card as I have planned it for her birthday in May, she loves her garden and her name means 'honey' so this image is just perfect! I've coloured with pencils and Sansodor and added tiny touches of Sakura Glaze pens here and there on the flowers and bees then added a little distressing around the edges with brown VersaMagic chalk inks. When it came to putting the card together I took inspiration from the Ismaki Sketch #11 and some pinky card I recently received in a PIF candy, I used Close to Cocoa cardstock for my base and additional papers from Papermania's Vintage pack. The little text greeting is another from the little Studio G set I won recently from Claudia and because I didn't have a tiny gem that coordinated, I added a blob of clear glaze to the centre of the doodle.
